Earn free credits
The four Unlock Pro Plan steps, what each one pays, and the other ways to top up a balance without paying.

There are three ways to add credits without paying: the daily free allowance, the Unlock Pro Plan checklist, and referrals.
The daily allowance
Every Free account gets 20 credits a day, refreshed daily — enough for roughly 3 screens. An empty balance comes back tomorrow, so a slow week costs nothing. See Plans and limits.
Unlock Pro Plan — four steps
In the editor, click Upgrade for free. The panel tracks your progress through four steps, and completing all four unlocks 3 days of Pro Plan free. Each step also pays credits on its own:

A few things worth knowing:
- Each step pays once. You cannot claim the same step twice.
- A review counts wherever you left it. Capterra replaced Trustpilot as the review step; if you reviewed us on Trustpilot before that switch, it still counts and you will not be asked again.
- The testimonial pays more with video — 12 credits for text, 24 more if you record a short video.
Verification is manual
Credits are not granted the instant you submit. Someone checks the review, post or testimonial is real, and you get an email when it lands. That is deliberate — it is what keeps the reward worth offering — so give it a little time rather than submitting twice.
Referrals
Referring someone pays 250 credits (about $10 worth) to both of you when they first upgrade to a paid plan, for up to five referrals. That is by far the largest single source of free credits. See Refer and earn.
Making credits last
Earning more is only half of it. A targeted edit costs 0.2 credits where regenerating a screen costs 6, so the habits in How credits work stretch a balance further than any of these steps will fill it.
