Connecting GitHub#

  1. Go to Integrations → GitHub.
  2. Authorise UXMagic (OAuth).
  3. Pick an existing repository, or have UXMagic create one.

Pushing code#

  1. Select the screens you want.
  2. Export → GitHub.
  3. Choose the repository and branch.
  4. Push. The exported code is committed for you.

Pushing again updates the same files, so the repo stays in step with the design as it evolves.

GitHub Pages#

You can deploy the pushed code with GitHub Pages directly from the integration — useful for a quick public preview when you want the artifact to live in your own GitHub org rather than on UXMagic's hosting.

For a site you actually intend to run, publishing gives you a proper address, deployment history and rollback.

Good practice#

  • Push to a branch, not to main, and review the diff.
  • Bring assets into the repo. Exported code references images by URL; download them before you ship.
  • Expect a front end. There's no data layer or routing — wire it into your app.

Disconnecting#

Disconnect from Integrations. That revokes UXMagic's access; anything already pushed stays in your repo.
